A woman from a family in need must apply electronically to the district or city family and women’s department at her permanent or temporary place of residence.
Each year:
The Family and Women’s Committee issues the recommendation electronically on the basis of the working group’s final minutes and the relevant district or city department’s order.
The recommendation remains valid for one year from the date of issue and allows the applicant to compete within the additional four-percent state grant quota.
A recommendation does not guarantee automatic admission or a state grant. The applicant must take the entrance examinations and compete within the approved quota.
The benefit applies only to the applicant’s first selected study programme. It does not apply to a second or subsequent higher education degree.
The procedure is established by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 402.
